Lopburi
Sunflowers This was taken earlier this December. The peak time for the sunflowers is mid-November and they were already drooping. Kids had helpfully created faces on nearly every remaining flower. And whoa! The traffic! I've been here ten years and this was the worst I'd ever seen. The entire province is turned into a one-lane road and once you get in the loop expect three hours of bumper to bumper madness with any exit blocked by police. |

BMA Parking Structure The park in from of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (City Hall) has been excavated for the construction of an underground parking structure. When it completed, the park will be restored on top. A similar plan has been proposed for Chatuchak Park with enough clearance for tour busses. This photo was taken from the platform that the Giant Swing sits on (Sao-Ching Cha). |
