An interesting project to record and examine accents exhibited by English speakers (native and non-native):
http://classweb.gmu.edu/accent/
More than 400 people from all cultural areas / linguistic backgrounds were asked to read the same four sentences. The sound samples are made available on the site, along with a phonetic transcription and notes about typical 'generalizations' (deviations from the standard pronunciation).
Three Thais are included; and even a couple of computer voices - look up "synthesized".
Of course you can select the countries from a list, but they also have a clickable "Accent Atlas" (http://classweb.gmu.edu/accent/maps/atlas/atlas.html).
