Looks like Dick has done a good job of detailing lines currently in operation.

Here's another running South East from Amphur Ban Mo, which is on the Northern line about 10 Kms + North of Ban Phacchi.

Looks like it is about 4 kms long judging by the scale. Although this is in an area quite close to the limestone quarries around Phra Phutthabat, the map indicates the line runs through an area of lowland; probably rice paddy. Unlikely terrain for cement works, perhaps!?

That's the route from Ban Moh to the Iron Mine at Khao Thub Kwai in Lopburi
Durting the WWII, the iron and stell were in short supply so the rail route to Iron mines are on demand ... evne thogh they were discovered later on that the iron mine havbe too little iron ore to be commercilly viable ...

Well, It's my own error .. It is actualluy the branch line for Siam Cement to get the limestone to produce cement at cement mill at Tha Luang
(Tha Luang Commune, Tha Ruea District of Ayutthaya) and Ban Krua (Ban Krua Commune, Ban Moh District of Saraburi)

Before I start (with others) with the track maps, I intend to make first a new railwaymap on scale 1: 250.000 (scale not definitif yet). In europe there are several atlasses of France, Germany. and so on. In the same way a set of maps will be possible. On this map(s) we like to present all railway lines in past and present including stations and stops. This kind of work asked a long period of preparation. But in late spring 2005 I will start with.
Dick.

For the case of Saraburi Branch line, it must be the familiar pak Priaw Ballast Train line [BTW Pak Priaw is the oldname of Saraburi station :D ]
