Does anyone here call pedestrian overpasses 'flyways'? Presumably, 'detachable' means they can be moved to a different location as needs change or if the initial siting was wrong!?:

Hanoi Times – To ease traffic congestion, Hanoi’s People Committee promulgated a document No 2553/UBND o*n re-positioning 18 ratified fly-ways for pedestrians in the framework of the project o*n enhancing traffic safety.
So far, two fly-ways, construction of which started in March, 2008, were already completed and put into use. They could be detachable if necessary.
