Now when it costs so much to buy petrol, what alternatives exist.
If you were to drive Bagna to Petchburi (Amari Watergate Hotel) everyday, is there a cheaper alternative? If one was to drive to the Sky Train at On Nut is there free parking on weekdays at this stop?
Would buying a stored value Skytrain pass be of any savings over driving into the city each day. Is the only savings of the SkyTrain, time?

The Parking at Onnut will cost you about 30 Baht
After that, you will have to ride Skytrain to Chitlom and then walk to Central World Plaza to catch the bus or ask for Motocycle taxi to send you to Amari Watergate.
Other alternative is to ride the Bus that go to expressway (e.g. 140, No 2 - aircon version recommended) whcih will drop you at Victory monument or Phetburi. IOf they droip you at Vitory monument, that's grteat. if they drop you at Phetburi (Bus No2 Expressway), you will have to ask for taxi or Motorcycle Taxi to go to Amari Watergate.
For the case to Skytrain ticket, I would reccommend either 3-day pass or 30-day pass (10-15 trips). It'll save you a lot of money.

So basically if one owns a car, it is easier, if not the same price to just drive daily. 30Baht for parking and 10-20 baht a day for sky train is the same as buying petrol. OnNut needs free commuter parking or the skytrain needs to go to BangNa as originally planned.

Khun AMRivlin,
Well, 30 baht a day is Cheap ... and Asia Park and Ride at
Onnut ALWAYS filled up. Better construct Park and Ride Buiding and I still expect that event they have lafied 50 Baht a day, thsoe park and ride still be Fill up to Full Capacity. Think about it!
The expressway will cost you from 30 baht or MORE
if you switch the system at At Narong and you still face
the traffic JAM in the Expressway ... Think about it!
Therefore, the delay on Samrong extension due to the goernment plan to nationalization have IGNITED Bangkokians' anger toward the government since the government has ALIENATED the people though the plan to drag their feet depite of the pledge to His majesty.
