Smells very fishy to me -- the English is a bit awkward, but it seems to be internationally so (long sentences, simple vocab) while never making the mistakes that real Thais do (spelling, grammar). Use of contractions and mastery of English idiom are native: what was the last time you heard a Thai say things like "things aren’t always the way they appear" or "I said I’d better not talk about him"?
But it's a fairly well-spun story anyway :D
