I agree that Mr. Manthorpe may have missed the mark in stating that middle class Thais are in a situation analagous to that in Burma and that disquiet is beginning to spill out into the streets. We're a ways from that . . . I hope! But Khun Wisarut's recent posts concerning the approach of Armageddon are at the very least interesting if not frightening.

I thought much of the rest of Manthorpe's article was pretty close to the mark. Some of those rocks in the road are beginning to look like boulders!

Was an ok article. Lots of gossip in there that you dont here talked about, so he must have a couple of knowledgable contacts.

Also shows how its getting harder for the insiders to keep their info inside.

Perhaps, you might want to ask someone to somehow pass on the contents of a certain e-mail forward with certain pictures. Either someone was very clever at seamlessly photoshopping a person's head onto a couple pictures (yes, you read that number right) or well they are real.

The obvious question is, who is the source of the pictures? It is not one I want to speculate about.
