Detective Inspector Mike Bush, former New Zealand Police liaison officer in Southeast Asia, who also investigated Mr Stevens' death and provided evidence to the inquest, said Thai police were not bound by the same standard of investigation as New Zealand police.....which strikes me as a very polite way of saying, "They are very unprofessional and completely f***ed up this investigation!" :D
