I am the judge of the Asia Blog Awards 2006 for Thailand this year (basically I am culling the nominated sites down to 10).

I can also add in any good blogs that have been overlooked. Do you know of any good blogs on Thai subjects or somehow connected to Thailand? For this contest they need to be primarily in English.

How strictly is 'blog' defined? I'd vote for Stickman Bangkok (http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/week.html).

Yes, Stickman is considered a blog.

I think you know already about Richard Barrow's thai-blogs.com? If not, sample his ride_on_the_maeklong_railway (http://www.thai-blogs.com/index.php?blog=5&title=a_ride_on_the_maeklong_railway&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1).

I'm completely biased on this one.

Against Stickman, you mean? C'mon, his column's got a lot more content and a lot less misguided rants about AIDS...

Hi:

I found out about these awards just yesterday and was happy to see that 'Friskodude' put my name forward as a nominee too.

Very difficult to judge though, as great sites like (the factual) 2bangkok.com, (the colourful) thai-blogs.com and (the saucy) stickmanbangkok.com are so different in context.
