View Full Version : How many BTS/MRT Stations have you used?
Is there a poor drawing of tracks I can work out for a thai/english version. Also from the yards

The route of the skytrain as given on the map Greater Bangkok ask for more. So I like to make a map showing tracks, points, crossings in detail, including yards and (depot)-buildings.
It would be great if you can give me some information.
By the way, looking for the situation Pak Nam railway and adjacent Bangkoktram we have had a simular situation in The Hague (Den Haag) in the Netherlands. In The Hague there was (and is) an interesting tramnet. Until 1961 there was also a heavy interurban line to Leiden (16 km distance).

Ok give me a little time. I need to search my papers. I may have some information of what you want.
So, as threatened before :D , here it is: the BTS/MRT poll. There are 22 Skytrain and 18 Subway stations.
("Used" means "having boarded or disembarked from a train" at that station, same as for the SRT poll; though in this case you could also define it as passing the turnstiles and entering the platform level.)
As I said, I am only missing Ari Station. (As far as the Subway is concerned, I deliberately went to some of them just for the sake of having been there once. For the Skytrain, it all came naturally over time.) Anyone got the complete set?

33, including every single Skytrain station on both lines, and every single one I've actually had some reason to go to. Then again, during my stays in Bangkok I've been based near Ari, Ploenchit, Phrom Phong and Sala Daeng, so a couple of stations in any direction covered the gamut... For a long time Chong Nonsi was the only one missing, but then a 2Bangkok meeting provided the perfect excuse to check it off the list
MRT stations are more spotty, including a vast gap between Chatuchak and Phra Ram 9 where I've gone through several times but never gotten off along the way. One of those areas of Bangkok that I should explore more...
