Royal Seminary Dome?

Coming back on the river last week from Klong Bangkok Yai I noticed when entering mae nam Chao Phraya that the seemingly 'colonial' designed Royal Seminary building (located near Rachina Pier and just north of the Flower Market - Sapahn Phut/Memorial Bridge) has the steel framework for a small dome type structure. It seems to have been a more recent planned addition?

I don't know anything about the history or current use of the building but would appreciate any info.

Royal Serminary -> Rong Rian Rachinee [Rachinee Girl School - the first girl school in Thailand] ... That's must be the rebuilding after the heavy damage from fire accident during the renovaltion :(

Khun Wisarut, thanks for the info. First girls school? When was the fire during the renovations, last year?
