Well, no maps, but I feel this useful site belongs here anyway:

http://www.statoids.com

As mentioned by Ahoerstemeier elsewhere on the forum - information on Administrative Divisions of Countries.

Introduction (http://www.statoids.com/details.html)
FAQ/Statoid Records and Trivia (http://www.statoids.com/factoids.html) (e.g., the largest subdivisions of a country are: Sakha [Yakutia] in the Russian Federation with 3.1 million sq.km; and Uttar Pradesh in India with 166 million inhabitants)
Thailand Provinces (http://www.statoids.com/uth.html)
Thailand Districts (http://www.statoids.com/yth.html)

Yes, it is a very interesting site, and was (and is) probabky a lot of work to collect and keep all that data up-to-date. Yet sadly Gwillim Law hasn't yet fixed those mistakes I found in the population numbers of the Amphoe (especially the Amphoe of Amnat Charoen are all from a different census table), though I told him about it years ago.

Another related site is http://www.geonames.de - which is especially fascinating by showing the names of the country subdivisions in the native charset (provided your Unicode font has those characters).
