Rather bizarrely, this is a resource base about Operation Krohcol by some Singapore wargamers. So you may have to put up with some rather hilarious photos of plastic soldiers & tanks set in distinctly artificial backgrounds. The info between the pictures is interesting in its own right, but scroll down to page bottom for the real prize. A series of Malaysian Topo Map scans from the 1960s; probably 1:50,000:-

Contributor, Rocky:-
Old map showing the layout of railway line in 1895.
POS Besar is now the exact location where the engine sheds and workshop used to be.
The map show that previously the rail line 'curve' after loco sheds(after POS Besar),under Damansara road(Now between British Council and KL Memorial Library) and follow the Road alignment of today Jalan Kinabalu and Jalan Kuching up.
It bypass west of Selangor Club and St Mary Cathedral on its way north.
Contributor, Jimmylow:-
After the railway station, heading north, it turns right towards now Jalan Tan Cheong Lock, pass the Hong Leong Bank and Kota Raya towards Jln Sultan Station where now the Puduraya STAR LRT stations stands. Amazing. I shall remember and imagine the steam train passing through this road every time I use it :D
PLUS 1913 Picture of KL Station. Those covered goods waggons have hardly changed:-
