An interesting Slovenian site with information about Nuclear Power Plants all over the world - http://www.icjt.org/npp/index.html

Currently only "browse by country" available.
For each country they sum up the numbers as follows:

-Connected
-Under Construction
-Vaguely Planned
-Firmly Planned
-Shut Down

Countries with existing plants have overview maps showing the locations. Plus there are detailed lists, descriptions and photos of the facilities, as well as graphs depicting the total nuclear power production of the country.

Thailand has a reactor in the "vaguely planned" status. Any idea what kind, how big, where and if this is at all current?

And random nuclear energy link o' the day: the Tokyo Electric Power Company's utterly bizarre Denryokukan (http://www.artindex.metro.tokyo.jp/contents/museum_details?lang=en&id=ins3-00063) ("Electric Power Hall"), incl. walk-through scale models of nuclear reactors (http://www5.mediagalaxy.co.jp/Denryokukan/exhibit/6F/index.html) and chirpy videos (http://www5.mediagalaxy.co.jp/Denryokukan/exhibit/6F/6F.wmv) featuring everybody's favorite cartoon character Mr. Plutonium, not to mention what has to be one of the ugliest corporate uniforms on the planet. Located in Shibuya, and free entrance to boot.

Thailand has a reactor in the "vaguely planned" status. Any idea what kind, how big, where and if this is at all current?Didn't they have some experimental reactor in Nakhon Nayok, or planned to build one there (met with considerable opposition)?
