The More Sensible Post is here:

"be yourself as thai people who live and love in thailand

be yourself as following the man you believe in

be yourself as trusting yourself and trusting our thai people to do the right good things together.

be calm and see, dont make thing more violent that will harm our children and old people or whom we love, make them happy as long as we can

Malaysia is just malaysia- IGNOR them at this moment- wait and see what they want and why. Read then carefully. When time come we do the right things to protect the land and people we love.

If that time comes, we cant protect the land in danger. Maybe if we should cut the bad meat to protect the rest of us, we should do it. Like our ancestor used to do it before.

Pray for peaceful life. Be careful at the moment you are breathing and that is for yourself and people you love"

I'm obviously a traitor as I sit here sipping Boh Tea and eating Ping-Pong Crackers bought from Thai citizens in a local market where they are finding it hard to compete with (frankly inferior) brands in TESCO LOTUS et al. Lipton Tea sucks and the local crackers (also produced by a Malaysian Company near Hat-Yai Airport) are as dry as prison biscuits.

JRD is a Taiwanese Company that also builds motorcycles in Hat-Yai.

Nothing is that simple any longer.

IMHO the real traitors are those rich people & politicians in Thailand who are so wrapped up in their own personal greed issues, they can't be bothered to make sure their next-door neighbors have a sensible income. And their communication abilities are so poorly developed that Malaysians are able to screw them at the negotiation table every time. Perhaps its time they got used to listening to their own citizens. And thru that experience begin to discover that it is not a good idea to take a nap when negotiating with Malaysians.

Wat da heck... I'm really sorry to hear this... but as far as I'm concern majority of us Malaysians doesn't have any Anti Thai sentimen or whatsoever... I'm still happily using my Dove shampoo and conditioner or even toothpaste and many plastic products which are proudly made in Thailand! A few people marching in front of the Royal Thai Embassy doesn't really represent the feelings of Malaysians as a whole or even change or deteriorate the good perceptions of Malaysians about Thais...

Khun Ijud,

Yeah ... Those who have friends in KL have reported that they have NOT seen any sign of Widespread Anti-Thai products ... aside from demonstrators in fron of Royal Thai Embassy at KL. However, Post Today has AMPLIFIED Anti-Thai deomnstration in such as way that it is nearly IGNITED anti Malay riot ....

At least Thai netters have released theri frustrations on the Net whcih i have translated here. :) :D

Looks like Taksin is going to have to make with the burning barrels of diesel again.

No politician or revolutionary keeps me away from my Boh Tea & Ping-Pong Crackers. ;) Not to mention Baked Beans & Processed Peas. These things transcend the bollox of aspiring politicians.

wow, i'd never thought thai people can be so paranoia about malaysia. i don't think malaysia gives any threat to thailand. besides, recently it was reported in BBC that malaysian economy fell it's global competitiveness behind thailand in recent study. and the use of words 'anti malay' here is quite wrong since all malaysian prominent companies are owned by non-malays in malaysia (except petronas, which is a government-related company).

Thais seem to get angry about a lot of foreigners...

Anti-Chinese in the early 20th century
Anti-Japanese riots in the 70s'
Anti-Malaysia sentiment in 2003
Anti-Cambodia sentiment in 2004 about Angkor Wat
Anti-Singapore sentiment in 2005

this seems to be a pattern...
